Assignment
For this week I want you to think about and plan a course introduction for your students. Think about how you will introduce the course the very first time they log in. For example, what will they see when they click on the course title from the learning management system home screen? Will you greet them there and send them to another page in the site? Will you put all of your introductory materials on that first page? Will that page be a different one than the overview that is there by default? Once you make those decisions think about what you will use to communicate the course introduction and what will you cover? Will you use video, audio, text, images, a combination perhaps?
DELIVERABLE: Use these prompts to write up a brief outline of what you plan to do for your course introduction and send a link to your completed document to Scott by Friday October 4 at 11:59pm
