In class we talked about digital portfolios and looked at some tools and options for creating your own. For this week’s assignment you’ll want to take some time to think about what you want your digital portfolio to look like content-wise and design-wise. It might help to look at some portfolios/websites of people you admire or who do similar scholarship as you, and also to look at design elements on other sites that you just like. Most importantly, start thinking about what the content will be in your site and how you might organize it. We’ll be building the portfolio over the course of the semester, so use this time to think about what you like/want/prefer and to think about what platform you think might be best for you.
Deliverable: There is no particular deliverable this week except to start getting a place set up (or planned) for you to put your digital assignments into.
